Job description
Data Scientist, Inference - Community Support - Airbnb, Remote USA
Data Scientist, Inference - Community Support - Airbnb, Remote USA
Employer: Airbnb | Location: Remote, United States | Type: Full-time
Airbnb describes itself as a mission-driven company, and Community Support is where that mission meets operational reality — millions of contacts a year across dozens of languages and every time zone.
A Data Scientist doing inference work in that organisation measures whether service changes actually worked: new policies, automation, agent tooling, routing changes. That means experiment design, quasi-experimental methods where randomisation is impossible, and translating findings into operational decisions.
The role is remote within the United States.
Good fit for: data scientists with causal inference and experimentation experience, ideally from customer operations, marketplaces or service businesses.
