About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in Media Mix Modeling (MMM), marketing analytics, machine learning, and AI . In this role, you will work on complex marketing and business problems, developing analytical models that help organizations measure marketing effectiveness, optimize investments, and make data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate combines strong statistical and analytical foundations with hands-on experience in MMM and modern AI/ML techniques. You should be comfortable working independently with large datasets, translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain Media Mix Models (MMM) to measure the incremental impact of marketing campaigns, web experiments, and structural or market changes.
Collect, prepare, validate, and manage data and variable definitions required for MMM development.
Build scalable and reproducible analytical workflows to structure, extract, analyze, and generate insights from marketing data.
Apply machine learning, Generative AI, and LLM-based approaches where appropriate to enhance marketing analytics, measurement, and campaign optimization.
Translate complex model outputs and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for marketing and business stakeholders.
Conduct scenario analysis, forecasting, and optimization to support media investment and budget allocation decisions.
Troubleshoot data quality, modeling, and analytical issues and independently drive solutions.
Document methodologies, assumptions, code, data requirements, and analytical outputs to enable knowledge transfer and maintain high-quality deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.
Adapt priorities and deliverables as project requirements and business needs evolve.
Required Qualifications & Skills
6-10 years of experience in data science, marketing analytics, econometrics, quantitative analytics, or a related field.
Demonstrated hands-on experience building Media Mix Models that have supported marketing investment, campaign measurement, or budget allocation decisions.
Strong understanding of statistical modeling, marketing measurement, incrementality, experimentation, and analytical problem-solving .
Strong proficiency in Python and/or R .
Strong SQL skills with experience working with large-scale data.
Experience with Hive, SparkSQL, PySpark , or similar big-data technologies.
Hands-on experience developing and productionizing machine learning models .
Experience applying Generative AI and/or LLMs to analytics, data science, or business workflows.
Understanding of AI/ML and agentic development concepts and their practical application.
Ability to independently manage analytical projects, troubleshoot complex problems, and deliver high-quality results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts and insights effectively to business stakeholders.
Preferred Education
Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Data Science , or another quantitative discipline preferred.
A Bachelor's degree combined with substantial relevant professional experience will also be considered.
