Job Descriptions:
Database Administrator (Vertica Sybase) - 5-7 Years Experience
Experienced Database Administrator with 5-7 years of expertise in Vertica, Sybase ASE, and Sybase IQ database environments.
Responsible for database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security administration, high availability, replication, and production support.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, database monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery processes.
Experience supporting mission-critical applications, optimizing database performance, managing upgrades and migrations, and collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability, scalability, and compliance. xzgxqkn
Exposure to automation, scripting, and modernization initiatives is preferred.
SQL, Foglight, RDBMS knowledge
