nJOB SUMMARY

nResponsible for the overall operations of the day program and overseeing the delivery of services. The Day Program Supervisor will assist the administrative staff in determining training requirements for employees.

nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

nFunction as a Program Coordinator for the individual(s) served.

nAssist in the development, preparation, and monitoring of individual(s) served ISP according to the guidelines of DMRS and other entities that provide regulatory oversight and/or funding, and according to the needs of the individual(s) served.

nInterview prospective individual(s) served and families.

nCoordinate and arrange appointments, meetings, etc.

nServe as a support for the individual(s) served, the individual(s) served's family, and Evergreen staff who provide services.

nMonitor budgetary requirements and expenditures.

nEnsure that all policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines are followed.

nAssist with scheduling individual(s) served for specific training and maintaining documentation of such training.

nWill be on call and assist the Program Supervisor and Executive Director as needed in performing any other tasks as assigned.

nAbides by all policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines for safety, quality assurance, and general corporate oversight.

nMeets with the individual(s) served, families, persons from other agencies, including state agencies, medical and other service providers, to develop individualized programs and services for the individual(s) served.

nCoordinates services, monitors, and revises programs, and generally provides oversight of individual(s) served health and welfare.

nEmploys and trains staff and monitors their work performance.

nPerforms all supervisory duties as required.

nReviews written and oral reports on matters relating to the individual(s) served and acts through verbal and/or written instructions on these matters.

nAssist in the performance of other duties required by the needs of the individual(s) served and as assigned by the Executive Director or Program Supervisor.

nQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/JOB KNOWLEDGE

nHigh school diploma or equivalent.

nBachelor’s degree in a related Human Service field preferred.

nMust know how to determine the needs of individuals served and develop programs that will meet those needs.

nAbility to calculate wages to assist individuals served

nPrior work in a non-profit atmosphere and experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are preferred.

nA combination of education and experience will be considered.

nOccasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.

nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

nMust have good physical and mental health and be able to work in a fast-paced work setting.

nMust be able to deal with stress and adjust to a flexible work schedule.

nMust be able to travel to various areas of the state and out of state, as well as work unscheduled shifts when the need arises.

nConstantly moves about to coordinate work.

nRegularly works in a fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlines.

nRegularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

nOccasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.

nConstantly alert and observant during working hours.

nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities or medical conditions to perform the essential functions.

nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

nWill supervise.

nSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

nMust have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with the individual(s) served and their families.

nMust be creative in problem-solving and planning.

nMust have the ability to maintain good working relationships with staff, professionals, and persons from other agencies.

nSKILLS AND ABILITIES

nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.

nWorking knowledge of Google Workspace.

nAptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.

nEMPLOYMENT VARIABLES

nMust have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation.

nMust pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

nWill frequently have direct contact with the individual(s) served and their families.

nAvailability for evening and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.

nWORKING ENVIRONMENT

nMay be required to work in a variety of settings and environments, both indoors and outdoors.
