Job PositionDuties:Comply with all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, quality, and all plant specific procedures and rulesInspect all product for defects; both naturally and unnaturally occurringWork at a safe pace necessary to maintain efficient production at all timesKnow and understand specifications/requirements for each productSafely work with and around knives, scissors, and other equipmentBe familiar with and maintain compliance with all applicable departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA)Be familiar with and maintain compliance of all food safety, HACCAP, and OSHA regulationsWork well with a team and independentlyMust be available to work overtime when necessary to meet production needsPhysical Demands:Must be able to move (bend, stoop, climb stairs) within the departmentMust be able to stand up to 100% of the scheduled shiftDemands include but not limited to gripping, lifting, cutting, and repetitive use of handsAbility to properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company and job specific JHAAbility to lift/maneuver up to 50lbsAbility to work in extreme cold or hot temperaturesPosition Requirements:No training, education or experience requiredUrine Drug Test RequiredDay Shift7:50- 5:50 pm (at the latest)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
