They have a positive attitude, motivated and reliable!Excellent advancement opportunities to driver, night shift warehouse, or supervisor/manager for those committed!Why join Team VanEerden?We pride ourselves as Great People delivering Quality Product to our Loyal Customers!Excellent Culture built on teamwork and service - We VALUE our employees and customersFast-paced and positive work environment with an emphasis on teamwork, quality & safetyWarehouse Associates are Important & Valued members of our team working together to provide our customers great produce each and every deliveryTypical daily schedule of 5 days per week, 7am – 5pm, Monday- Friday;We strive to be the company employees want to work for, and the company restaurants want to buy from!Job Overview for Day Warehouse Associate:Receiving/ Operating PIT Responsibilities (80%)Receive and rehandling cases to meet Ti/Hi specifications.Stocking and putting away pallets of product.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehousePut away incoming product while rotating stock according to organizational standardsSelection Responsibilities (20%)Ability to select product for will call and or sales reps during high volume receiving days.Demonstrate attention to detail by evaluating produce quality, by ensuring the quality of products off loaded onto the dock.Qualifications:Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.1 year of receiving experience preferred.Ability to operate a standup PIT and tools and willingness to become certified operating a forklift.Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and move on & off equipment regularly.Must have manual dexterity and be able to lift 70 lbs safely, reach product as tall as 6 feet and work standing up for 8+ hours per day.
