Job description
MedVet Cleveland is seeking a daytimeER doctor/Hospitalist for our growing ER and multispecialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be internship-trained and/or have 3-5 years of experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing inpatients across all specialties (internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology, radiology, ophthalmology, and surgery).
Managing in-house transfers between the emergency service and specialty departments and the associated communication and decision-making with clients and referral partners.
Managingnew emergency appointments and transfers from referring partners.
Updatingclients and referral partners on patientstatus.
Supporting the specialists with procedures, patient recoveries, records, and communication to both clients and referral partners.
Working with the hospital leadership teamto improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
Contributing to the ongoing training of clinical team members.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is up to $180,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Additional production-based compensation is also available.
