Shreveport, LA 71115
Assignment Details
Ongoing need for a DDS on Fridays (potentially through the end of the year).
Previous provider was asked to stay on through December but had another assignment.
Schedule
Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
Patient Volume
Approx. 15 hygiene patients per day
Approx. 12 restorative patients per day
Staff includes 2 full-time hygienists and 2 full-time dental assistants
Patient Demographics
Primarily young adults (ages 18-25), with a full range from 15-99 years old
Clinical Scope
Bread and butter dentistry:Dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
Fluoride treatments
Fillings (composite resin)
Sealants
Extractions (basic required; complex/wisdom teeth preferred)
Stainless steel crowns (pediatric cases)
Root canals - preferred but not required
Qualifications
DDS with a positive, team-oriented approach and strong patient rapport
Medicaid certification preferred (not required)
