Job description
Aerospace Hand FinisherAerospace experience is a requirement for this position.Duties & Responsibilities:Hand finish / Deburr a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the aerospace industriesUse hand and power tools to grind, sand, clean, break edges, and deburr parts in preparation for further finishingKnowledge & Abilities:Ability to use basic deburring and hand-finishing tools, including right angle grinders, die grinders, orbital sanders, and air pens (manual and power)Knowledge and proper use of calipers, torque wrenchesEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or GED required0–3 years of hand finishing experience preferredAbility to read and comprehend English preferredPhysical Requirements:Steady hand-eye coordinationAbility to lift up to 30 lbsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to twist/turn upper body as requiredClose vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus requiredMust wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
