Deburr - Grinder OperatorAre you someone with a knack for working with your hands and an eye for detail? We're on the lookout for a skilled Deburr - Grinder Operator to join our team for the 2nd shift. This role is perfect for individuals with experience using grinders or sanders who are eager to ensure that every part they handle meets safety and quality standards.What You'll Do:Use sanders, grinders, and hand tools to remove burrs, sharp edges, and rough spots from fabricated and welded parts.Ensure all welds and surfaces are smooth, adhering to safety and quality protocols.Inspect your work meticulously before it moves to the next stage.Maintain accurate and current paperwork for each work order.Perform routine maintenance on tools, such as replacing worn abrasives, and report any unsafe conditions.Safely move materials using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes, once trained.Keep your workspace organized and adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE.Assist with other tasks as directed by your supervisor.What You Bring:Experience with sanders or grinders and confidence in using hand tools.Consistent attendance and reliability for the 2nd shift schedule.Commitment to safety, including regular use of PPE.Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.High school diploma or GED.Authorized to work in the United States.Ability to commute reliably to our Gainesville, GA facility (on-site role; relocation assistance not provided).Helpful, But Not Required:Experience in deburring, grinding, sanding, or metal finishing.Knowledge of working with stainless steel.Background in grinding or blending welds, or welding experience.Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machine shops, auto body work, or construction.Forklift or overhead crane operation experience.Prior experience working a second shift.Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Manufacturing shop-floor setting; requires standing and walking throughout the shift.Exposure to noise, grinding dust and sparks, and hand-tool vibration.Repetitive use of hands and arms, frequent bending, reaching, and overhead work.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with assistance available for heavier parts.Use of personal protective equipment, including eye and face protection, hearing protection, and gloves, is mandatory.What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with an added shift premium for 2nd shift.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.Health savings and flexible spending accounts, along with a 401(k) plan with company match.Company-paid life and short-/long-term disability insurance.Wellness program, Employee Assistance Program, and paid time off with holidays.Tuition reimbursement to support your professional growth.A chance to be a part of launching a new shift, contributing to the team's success from the ground up.
