Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Very prominent Dallas based Defense Litigation Law Firm is seeking a Defense Litigation Attorney for the San Antonio area , for an immediate need.
This position will be 100% remote - but the candidate must live in the San Antonio area for to be able to be present for court, depositions, etc.
Highlights:
Salary - $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus/Profit sharing
100% remote - MUST LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO AREA

Licensed to practice and in good standing in the State of Texas
We are seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of litigation experience in business litigation, insurance defense or medical malpractice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while collaborating with a dynamic and experienced legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, business litigation or medical malpractice, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Provide legal counsel to insurers, businesses, and professionals in personal injury, professional liability, and construction-related claims.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs, related to personal injury, professional liability, and construction disputes.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings while effectively managing a caseload.
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in the Texas bar
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in business litigation, insurance defense or medical malpractice
• Some litigation knowledge, legal research, and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
