A law firm seeks a Defense Litigation Partner in South San Francisco. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote, hybrid, or onsite, catering to experienced California defense litigators. The position is part of a strategic expansion driven by client demand, focusing on trucking and transportation defense.
Duties
Independently manage complex litigation cases.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and insurers.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Draft and argue dispositive motions.
Participate in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
Requirements
10+ years of defense litigation experience.
Licensed to practice law in California.
Experience in trucking and transportation defense preferred.
Strong writing and strategic thinking skills.
Experience with depositions and client relationship management.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
California State Bar license.
Skills
Exceptional client service delivery.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Ability to manage a sophisticated caseload independently.
