Dental AssistantMO, Cameron - Crossroads Correctional Center - CAMERON, MO 64429Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage None Category Dental Hygienist & Dental AssistantPay Ranges from $19.50 - $23.50 per hour, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri.The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Additional responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, preparing and maintaining the dental operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and additional administrative tasks as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or its recognized equivalent requiredCompletion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six months of experience as a dental assistant preferredMissouri DA license or ability to obtain license preferredCertification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred; if the candidate does not possess a current certificate, one must be obtained in the first year of employmentCertification and/or previous experience performing dental x-rays preferredMust maintain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pmWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
