Job description
Dental AssistantFast-paced dental practice, with two locations in Bedford county, seeking a full-time or part-time dental assistant. Responsible for assisting our providers in delivering quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment, have a can-do personality, and be able to complete their assigned work in a timely fashion. Must display open communication to co-workers and commit to patient satisfaction.Essential Responsibilities:Understand and demonstrate proper sterilization, bio-hazard, and infection control procedures in compliance with protocolDemonstrate complete knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, maintenance, and proper tray setupsPerform all chairside procedures efficientlyEfficiently direct patient flow through teamwork and communicationPerform all necessary lab proceduresPackage and sterilize all lab casesPerform panoramic, periapical, and bitewing imagesEducation:Associate's degree in Dental Assisting (preferred)2 years' experience in Dental assisting (preferred)X-ray certification (required) or must be able to obtain upon hireFull-time benefits include:Nine paid holidaysPaid vacationInsurance benefitsRetirement plan
