Dental Assistant OpportunityAt The Smilist, we aim to provide high quality dental care in a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.Key Responsibilities:Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctorMaintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatmentEscort patients to and from the front deskPrepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as neededOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications:Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 yearMust have an active NJ x-ray licenseRDA a plus, but not requiredKnowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and proceduresPrior Dentrix experience preferred, but not requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficientlyAttention to detail and a positive attitudeWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation - work 30 hours per week and get paid for 36Work schedule is 2 days during the week and 1 weekend dayBenefits package - health, dental, vision insurance, and more!Opportunity for professional growth and continuing educationA chance to make a real impact on the health and well-being of our patientsPosition Details:Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays 7am-7:30pm and rotating Friday/Saturdays 7:30am-2pmSalary Range: $22.00-$27.00/hour (based on licensure)Location: Blackwood, NJThe Smilist Dental provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
