Dental Assistant at North Brooklyn Dental CareNorth Brooklyn Dental Care, a high-production, patient-focused practice, is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. We prioritize patient-centered care, advanced technology, and specialized expertise to ensure an exceptional patient experience.Position Details:Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday 9:30 AM- 5:30 PM). (company pays 100%)Paid certifications, including HIPAA, CPR and OSHA, to keep you up-to-date.Generous PTO & sick days, with 10 days PTO after one year and 7 sick days annually.Paid holidays, with 10 paid holidays after just 90 days.Referral incentives and acquisition rewards for bringing great talent to our team.401(k) retirement plan with company matching for long-term financial security.RequirementsWhile our ideal candidate should have:At least 2 years of experienceProvide 4-handed chair side assistance to multiple providers across general, perio, and oral surgeryReview the daily schedule proactivelyDigital X-ray experienceItero ScannerBreak down, sterilize, and restock instruments per OSHA infection control protocolsSeat patients, review treatment plans, and deliver post-op care educationAssist with hygiene as needed and support smooth, efficient office flowPossess outstanding time management, and communication, and enjoys working in a team environment.Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, technical skills, and equipment.Excellent computer skillsWhat We're Looking ForRequired:2-3 years of dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting4-handed chair side assisting in a high-production environmentDigital X-ray experience (X-ray certification a plus)Itero scanner experienceOpen Dental preferred; Dentrix or similar EHR knowledge acceptedStrong knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control standardsThe Right Fit:You review the schedule in advance and rooms are set before the doctor arrivesYou are proactive, solutions-focused, and do not wait to be directedYou show up consistently, follow through, and contribute positively to team cultureThis role is NOT the right fit if you:Wait to be told what needs to be doneDo not proactively prep and review the daily scheduleStruggle with reliability, consistency, or follow-throughOffice Culture:In this position, you'll be part of a team that builds long-term relationships not only amongst themselves but with our patients as well.
