Travel Dental AssistantPosition Overview: DT Trak is seeking an experienced Travel Dental Assistant to support the Indian Health Service at the Red Lake Service Unit in Minnesota. This assignment provides an opportunity to serve an underserved Native American community while working within a collaborative federal healthcare environment.Schedule:Monday through Friday7:00 AM to 3:30 PMNo weekendsNo on-callNo overtime authorizedResponsibilities:Assist dentists during examinations and proceduresPrepare treatment rooms and instrumentsSterilize and maintain dental equipmentTake dental radiographs as permitted by state regulationsDocument patient care in the electronic health recordEducate patients on oral hygiene and preventive careFollow infection control and OSHA standardsRequirements:Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program preferredCurrent Dental Assistant certification if required by state lawCurrent BLS certificationMinimum one year of recent dental assistant experienceExperience with digital radiography preferredAbility to pass federal background screeningBenefits:Weekly payTravel and housing assistanceHealth benefits availableCredentialing supportDedicated recruiter assistance
