Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) & Dental Assistant (DA)Location: Chattanooga, TNEmployment Type: Full-Time | 4-Day WorkweekA well-established pediatric dental practice in Chattanooga, TN is seeking both a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Dental Assistant (DA) to join a growing clinical team within a fast-paced, highly organized environment.This practice is known for maintaining a strong patient experience, supportive team culture, and consistent clinical workflow that allows the office to stay productive while continuing to provide quality care for children and families throughout the community.The ideal candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a pediatric setting where communication, efficiency, and patient care are priorities. Candidates should enjoy being hands-on clinically while contributing to a positive and collaborative office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during restorative, preventive, and pediatric dental proceduresPrepare treatment rooms and instruments before patient appointmentsSterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and infection control standardsTake and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by certification and state regulationsMaintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and clinical documentationProvide chairside support during procedures to help maintain efficient patient flowEducate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructionsEnsure treatment rooms remain stocked, clean, and prepared throughout the daySupport overall clinical efficiency by helping maintain schedule flow and organizationWork collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to create a positive patient experienceFollow HIPAA, OSHA, sterilization, and office safety protocols at all timesHelp create a welcoming, supportive environment for pediatric patients and familiesQualificationsPrevious dental assisting experience preferredCurrent CDA certification preferred for Certified Dental Assistant applicantsCurrent CPR/BLS certification preferredPediatric dental experience is a plus but not requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and remain organized within a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetFamiliarity with Dentrix, Dexis, or similar dental software preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain clinical efficiency throughout the dayCompensation & ScheduleCompetitive hourly compensation based on experience and certificationsFull-time 4-day workweekFridays offEstablished patient base and reliable scheduleWhat the Practice OffersSupportive and collaborative team environmentOrganized systems and structured clinical workflowLong-term stability within a growing pediatric practicePositive office culture focused on teamwork and patient careOpportunity for continued growth and long-term success within the practiceBusy, productive environment where team members are valued and supportedThis is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant looking to join a stable, professionally run pediatric practice where teamwork, consistency, and patient care remain the priority.
