Job TitleDutiesPerform chairside assistance duties in all phases of restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, endodontic and periodontal treatment as provided in general dentistry.Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.Obtain and record information related to medical history of patient and route patients for medical tests and services when required.Take and modify preliminary impressions for study models and impression trays.Provide oral hygiene instruction in the common causes of decay, brushing and flossing techniques, and care of prosthodontic appliances.Operating dental x-ray equipment.
