Job description
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Alturas, CA to find a dedicated Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a busy outpatient clinic team. This full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting daily clinical operations by assisting providers, delivering quality patient care, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and helping ensure the efficient flow of the clinic.
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | On Site | Per Diem opportunities also available
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
Assist with dental procedures, including extractions and orthodontic treatments
Prepare dental materialsand maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workspace
Prepare patients for exams and procedures
Pull, file, and maintainpatient charts, X-rays, and required documentation
Perform dental dressings, impressions, and other duties as directed by the dentist
Sterilize instruments and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for use
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control protocols
Attend required CPR and safety training
RDA candidates will alsoperform additional responsibilities, including select supervisory duties
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR certification
Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (for RDA applicants)
Previous dental healthcare experience & training highly preferred
