Dental AssistantPosition: Dental AssistantLocation: Elite Dental Care Dyersburg PLCCategory: Dental AssistantPosition Overview: We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dedicated team in Dyersburg, TN. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our dentists to deliver high-quality clinical treatment, ensure seamless patient flow, and maintain the highest standards of safety and care. If you are passionate about dentistry, take pride in your clinical work, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to meet you.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Support: Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures using smooth, four-handed dentistry techniques.Patient Care & Communication: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain procedures clearly, ease anxiety, and provide comprehensive post-operative care instructions.Operatory Management: Prepare, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms before and after procedures in strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines.Diagnostics & Radiography: Take crisp, accurate digital X-rays and intraoral photos as directed by the doctor.Lab & Records: Prepare clinical documentation/notes efficiently, take impressions, pour and trim models, and manage lab cases accurately. Use digital scanning technology to increase patient satisfaction for prosthetics.Team Collaboration: Participate actively in morning huddles, maintain proactive communication with front-office staff, and support team flow throughout the day.Qualifications & Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 1 year of active, chairside dental assisting experience required.Licensure/Certifications: Active Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License. Tennessee Radiology Certification required. Active CPR/BLS Certification.
