As a vital member of our dental practice, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. If you're enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to making a difference, we want to hear from you!Job Type: Full-timePay: $32,000.00 – $40,000.00 per yearJob DescriptionResponsible for assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients and for maintaining the appearance and order of dental office clinical area.Your responsibilities will include:Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and proceduresSterilize dental instrumentsHand instruments to dentists during proceduresInstruct patients in proper oral hygieneProcess x rays and complete lab tasks, under the direction of a dentistKeep records of dental treatmentsSchedule patient appointmentsWork with patients on financialsMust have:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational abilities and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyNYS licensed a plusProficiency in medical scheduling software or dental office software (Dentrix Ascend) is preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationPassion for helping others, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
