Job description
Expanded Function Dental DutiesConduct expanded function dental duties such as intra-oral procedures, restorations, fabricating crowns/bridges, matrix bands, polishing, application of fluoride/sealants, taking impressions/bite registrations, and fabrication of dental appliances.Process intra-oral and extra-oral conventional/digital dental radiographs in accordance with accepted radiation safety standards.Educate patients on post-treatment care.Provide chair side dental assistance during general dentistry and specialty related dental procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry.Prepare patient for procedure by arranging instruments, materials, and medications, and measuring vital signs.Carry out administrative duties such as maintaining dental health records, scheduling patient appointments, and greeting patients.
