Dental AssistantSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team to provide services at the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic in Orlando, FL.Full-time opportunity, 40 hours per weekMonday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pmConsistent and predictable incomePaid vacation and paid sick leaveFull complement of benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k and more.Location: 5201 Raymond St, Orlando, FL 32803Requirements:Dental Assistants shall have successfully completed a one (1) year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).Dental Assistants must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a dental assistant.Dental Assistants shall be competent in using four-handed dentistry, assisting with specialty procedures such as oral surgery, periodontal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics and implant placement and restorations.A Dental Radiological CertificateA current BLS and or CPR cardResponsibilities:The Dental Assistant shall perform chairside assistant duties in all phases of dentistry including but not limited to, prosthodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery and endodontics.The Dental Assistant shall be responsible for receiving routing patients, recording information related to patient care, utilization of all dental programs, and providing patient with education material related to their care.
