Part-Time Orthodontic Dental AssistantDecisionOne Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is hiring a Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team in Lake in the Hills, IL!What makes this opportunity unique?Just 2 Fridays a month Great opportunity to earn extra income while maintaining flexibility Join a supportive team that's passionate about creating confident, healthy smilesSchedule (days/hours)Friday 8-4 (2 times a month)ResponsibilitiesAssist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures.Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each patient.Take diagnostic records, including X-rays and impressions (as permitted by state regulations).Educate patients on orthodontic treatment and oral hygiene.Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records.Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.QualificationsMeet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employmentCurrent CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient careMust have Orthodontic experienceCompensation$25-$28/hourAbout UsBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
