Dental Assistant OpportunityWe are growing and looking to add a Dental Assistant to our team! Our Dentists and Team are dedicated to helping our patient families maintain optimal oral health. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a dental assistant. Whether you are just starting in the field or have some experience, we are committed to training the right person to become a member of our team.Responsibilities:Prepare and organize dental treatment rooms and instruments prior to patient appointments.Assist dentists during various dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental tools and equipment following strict infection control protocols.Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care with empathy and clear communication.Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times.Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials, ensuring availability for daily operations.Adhere to body motion and ergonomics best practices to maintain personal health and safety during clinical tasks.Qualifications:Willingness to learn and grow in the dental fieldNo prior experience required; training provided for the right personStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team orientated environmentHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredDetails:Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 5:15PMNo Evening, No Holidays, No WeekendsBenefits OfferedPay Range: $20 - $26Primary Location: LathamAbility to commute to Delmar and Schodack offices on an as needed basis preferredBenefits:Competitive pay + growth opportunitiesMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLong-Term and Short-Term Disability InsuranceCompany provided Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program401K with company contributionsPaid time off + paid holidaysDiscounted and Free Pediatric dental and orthodontic treatments
