CFCE expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.The Dental Assistant role is essential to the efficiency of the dental team, combining clinical, technical, and interpersonal responsibilities. The Dental Assistant prepares treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; assists during procedures by passing instruments and supporting the dentist; ensures infection control protocols are followed; and performs duties in compliance with the dental practice act.
