Part-time Dental AssistantAt Quinnipiac Endodontics and Main Street Dental, our mission is to provide quality dental and personal care to all our patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment in which patients feel welcomed, accepted, secure, and confident in the care that they are receiving. We believe that satisfying all of our patients is our most important goal. Our network of high-standard professionals provides exceptional care to our patients throughout Connecticut!Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Part-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Greet and seat patientsAct as a liaison between the patient and the doctorSet up trays as indicated by the days' chartsReview schedules and anticipate the doctor's needs in advanceAssist chairside using four-handed dentistryEnter treatment plansTake x-rays as neededClean and disinfect operatory after each patientTake alginates/pour and trim modelsPackage and sterilize instrumentsKeep operatory fully stockedBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planRequirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Superior customer service skillsWillingness to learn & growA desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!Ability to reliably commute to the office location in New Britain, CT and Wallingford, CTAvailable to work during current office hours:Monday - 7:30am - 5pmWednesday - 7:30am - 5pm (Wallingford)Friday - 7:30am - 5pmPreferred Qualities:Dental Office ExperienceDentrix Ascend software experienceX-Ray and ICE Certification
