Job description
Dental Assistant - Oakbrook Endo AssociatesWe are looking for a full-time sterilization/dental assistant to help manage sterilization for all of our doctors, including our new periodontist. This teammate will also assist Dr. Penesis as needed. The position does require travel with Dr. Penesis to our Plainfield location twice a week.Oakbrook Endodontic Associates is a specialty dental practice providing both endodontic and periodontal care. We have a great team that is focused on providing excellent patient care in a friendly, supportive environment.Schedule: Full Time, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with approximately 8-hour shifts each day.ResponsibilitiesProvide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-upDeliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointmentTake dental x-raysMaintain accurate patient records and documentationComplete sterilization processes for equipment and operatoriesWelcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment careEnsure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulationsPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentDental Assistant CertificationDental Assisting experienceWe OfferCompetitive CompensationComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysFlexible Spending & Health Savings AccountsLife & Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistance & Wellness ProgramsAdditional Voluntary BenefitsAnd More!Benefits available to eligible full-time and part-time employees working 20+ hours per week!
