Job description
Dental Assistant (RDA)Tice Valley Dental, we are an established, small private dental office in Walnut Creek looking for an experienced Dental Assistant or RDA to join our team. We are looking for someone with at least 2–3 years of dental assisting experience who is dependable, positive, organized, and able to adapt to the systems and workflow of our office. We value experience, but we also want someone who is flexible, willing to learn, and enjoys being part of a team.Responsibilities include:Chairside assisting for general and restorative dentistryPreparing and turning over treatment roomsSterilization and infection controlDigital X-raysMaintaining clinical supplies and ordering inventoryKeeping treatment areas organized and well stockedHelping maintain efficient patient flowProviding professional and friendly patient careSupporting other team members as neededQualifications:Minimum 1–3 years of dental assisting experienceStrong chairside assisting skillsFluent English and excellent communication skillsReliable, punctual, organized, and professionalPositive attitude and strong teamwork skillsProfessional reference from a previous dental employer requiredExperience with the following is a plus, but not required:Open DentalCERECIntraoral / 3-D scanningDigital dentistryFront-office duties such as scheduling, phones, insurance, and patient communicationWe are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of a friendly and professional dental team.Compensation: $28–$35 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and RDA status.Benefits:Health insurance401(k)Paid vacation / PTOPaid holidaysBenefit eligibility and waiting periods are based on company policies.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person – Walnut Creek, CA Please submit your resume and include your dental assisting experience and professional references.
