Orthodontic AssistantTurpin Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our established Ruston/West Monroe/Monroe team! The best candidate for this role has strong attention to detail and a patient-centered mindset. If this sounds like you and you meet our qualifications below, we want to hear from you!ScheduleFull-time.Monday through Thursday from 7:45AM-5:15PM.Fridays from 7:45AM to 12:00PM.BenefitsCompetitive compensation package.Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.PTO and paid holidays.401(k) options.Monday through Friday work schedule.Qualifications1+ years of orthodontic assisting experience is required.Must be willing to travel to our Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston locations on a weekly basis.Job DutiesDuties include but are not limited to the following:Taking extraoral and intraoral photographs.Taking dental impressions.Sterilization and packaging of orthodontic instruments.Disinfecting equipment and operatories.Maintaining inventory control of all lab equipment, supplies, instruments, and consumables.Preparing clinicians' chair-side set-ups.Tying and untying patients.Applying orthodontic appliances under the supervision of the orthodontist.Pouring models.Fabricating retainers.Cleaning the lab and operatories, sweeping/mopping as needed.Cleaning common areas and removing the trash.Providing oral hygiene and home care instructions to patients and family members.And adherence to all OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
