Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Williston Park. The position offers a schedule from Monday through Thursday, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. We are looking for candidates interested in a temporary to permanent position.ResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).Ensure patients are comfortable and provide them with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records.Provide patients with information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.QualificationsProven experience as a dental assistant is preferred.Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.Understanding of health and safety regulations in a dental setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented and reliable.
