Traveling Orthodontic Dental AssistantMonarch Dental – Cedar Hill, TX Supported by Smile BrandsMonarch Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is looking for an experienced Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in the Cedar Hill, TX area. This position is ideal for a dental professional who enjoys variety, is comfortable traveling between dental practices, and has experience in both orthodontics and general dentistry.ResponsibilitiesTravel between assigned Monarch Dental locations to provide orthodontic dental assisting supportAssist orthodontists and dental teams with patient care and clinical proceduresPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for orthodontic proceduresAssist with orthodontic procedures, including bracket placement, adjustments, impressions/scans, and other clinical duties as appropriateTake and prepare dental records and radiographs as directedProvide patients with clear instructions regarding orthodontic treatment and post-treatment careSupport general dentistry procedures and assist the dental team when neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environmentFollow all infection control, safety, and practice protocolsDeliver an exceptional patient experience at every locationQualificationsPrevious orthodontic dental assisting experience strongly preferredExperience in general dentistry is highly preferredDental Assistant certification/registration as required by the state of TexasExperience working with orthodontic patients and treatment proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with different dental teams and providersComfortable traveling between multiple dental practice locationsReliable, adaptable, and able to work independentlyCommitment to providing excellent patient careCompensation: 18.00- 20.00/hourBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
