From prepping treatment areas to educating patients on oral hygiene, your role is vital in ensuring everyone leaves with a bright smile.Essential Duties:Assist patients in resolving minor difficulties, answering questions, and providing directions as authorized by the dentistPrepare treatment areas by sterilizing and setting up for proceduresMaintain equipment and operatories in compliance with infection control protocolsManage operatory supplies and assist with inventory controlProvide patient education (post-op instructions, consent forms, oral hygiene basics)Schedule follow-up appointments and ensure proper handoffs to administrative teamMake post-op follow-up calls for patients after major proceduresSeat and prepare hygiene patients, including updating medical histories and taking vitals as neededTake diagnostic X-rays for hygiene examsAssist hygienists with perio charting and documentationSet up and break down hygiene operatories efficiently between patientsEnsure hygiene rooms are fully stocked and ready for each appointmentSupport hygienists with patient flow to help them stay on scheduleProvide oral hygiene instruction and reinforce home care recommendationsAssist with sterilization and instrument turnover specific to hygieneHelp identify and communicate treatment needs to the doctor and front officeWhat You Need to Succeed:High School Diploma or equivalentX-Ray Certification, experience needed.Current CPR certificationPerks & Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) planPaid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday PayCompetitive PayA fun, supportive, and dynamic work environmentSchedule:Monday through Wednesday 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Thursday: 7:15 a.m. 3:30 p.m.Ready to Make a Difference?
