Company Description We are a fun general and family dental practice serving patients in and around Fogelsville, PA. We focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a welcoming, professional environment. The practice emphasizes preventive care and patient education thru use of Itero scanner and Intra oral cameras with the goal of long-term oral health for individuals and families. Role Description The Registered Dental Hygienist is a 3 day per week , in office role based in Fogelsville, PA. The hygienist provides comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, and non-surgical periodontal treatment. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, performing oral cancer screenings, taking and interpreting dental radiographs, educating patients on oral hygiene and home care, and collaborating with the dentist on treatment planning. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring strict infection control and sterilization protocols, and supporting the clinical team with patient flow and chairside assistance when needed. Consistent, professional communication with patients and colleagues is what we are known for and key to the success of our office. Strong foundation in clinical dentistry and dental care, with the ability to collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members. Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures, including dental prophylaxis, patient education, scaling and root planing, and delivering local anesthesia. Knowledge of periodontal disease, including assessment, charting, and delivery of appropriate non-surgical periodontal therapies. Current state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Pennsylvania and CPR/BLS certification. Experience with digital dental radiography, electronic dental records, and standard infection control practices. Prior experience in a general or family dental practice is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
