Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care Excellence: Deliver thorough hygiene treatment, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, using gentle techniques. Administer local anesthetics and apply cavity‑preventive agents like fluorides and sealants догмат. off as permitted by state law.
Patient Advocacy & Education: Act as a primary educator, counseling patients on proper oral hygiene and nutrition, and helping to manage patient anxiety during treatment.
Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate periodontal charts, medical histories, and treatment records. Securely manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
Operatory & Inventory Management: Efficiently manage operatory duties, including room turnover, disinfection, sterilization of instruments, and daily preparation. Maintain hygiene supply inventory and submit orders.
