Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model)Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician (Denture Model) opportunity at NDX Rogers Dental Laboratory in Athens, TN. This is a trainee position that requires no experience. Hands-on, paid training is provided.The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentistModel work for fixed and removable casesProcessingInvesting and packing dentures, partials, night guardsAll other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Knowledge of tooth anatomyAbility to articulate according to RxKnowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)Identify through impressions marginsMinimum Education and Experience Required:Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalentHazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Wet GrinderSharp Tools/InstrumentsInvestment materialLatheHand pieceBoil OutPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reachExhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motionsRead and interpret prescriptions and other required documentationAbility to effectively communicate technical informationVision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or colorQualificationsBehaviors:Required:Team Player: Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityEducation:Preferred: High School or Equivalent or better.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
