Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.We invite you to explore our short clips, "WE are Yakima - WE are Family" and "YVFWC - And then we grew," for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families!Position Highlights:1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)$24.32-$29.79/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidatesAdditional pay for your bilingual skills, paid on hours worked100% employer-paid health insurance, including medical, dental, vision, Rx, 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!What You'll Do:Design dental restorations using CAD/CAM software and digital workflows, adhering to the prescription requests from the dentistsOperate and maintain dental milling machines, scanners, 3D printers, furnaces, and related laboratory equipmentFabricate crowns, bridges, implant restorations, dentures, splints, nightguards, and other prosthetic appliancesImport, export, and manage digital dental filesReview digital scans for accuracy, margin integrity, occlusion, and restorative fitCollaborate with providers and clinical staff regarding restorative case planning, shade selection, and design modificationsPerform finishing, staining, glazing, polishing, and quality control procedures for final restorationsTroubleshoot digital workflow issues, milling errors, scanner issues, and software-related concernsMaintain laboratory inventory, materials, equipment maintenance schedules, and supply orderingEnsure compliance with infection control standards, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policiesAssist in optimizing digital dentistry workflows across multiple clinics as neededProvide training or support to clinic staff related to digital impressions and restorative workflows, when applicablePerforms clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirementsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Minimum 2 years' experience in a dental laboratory, or as a Dental AssistantDemonstrated experience using intraoral scanners, laboratory scanners, CAD/CAM software, and dental milling equipmentKnowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, restorative materials, and prosthetic design principlesAbility to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBasic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hireCompletion of a dental laboratory technology program or related technical training preferredDental assisting experience or dental assistant certification preferredExperience in a Digital Dentistry Environment preferredExperience with implant restorations and full-arch digital workflows preferredExperience with 3D printing technologies and digital denture systems preferredExperience working with digital dental file formats including STL files and digital case workflows preferredMulti-site or high-volume clinic experience preferredCertified Dental Technician (CDT) Certification preferredSpanish-speaking skills are preferred at a level 10This position is eligible for Bilingual Differential Compensation when an ALTA score of 10 is achievedStrong proficiency with digital dentistry systems and CAD/CAM technologyAbility to operate milling machines, scanners, and associated laboratory equipment safely and effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality assuranceAbility to interpret prescriptions, scans, and provider instructions accuratelyStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to troubleshoot technical and workflow issues independentlyEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactionsKnowledge of restorative and implant workflows in a clinical settingFamiliarity with Exocad, 3Shape, CEREC, Medit, iTero, or similar systemsBasic understanding of chairside dental assisting proceduresExperience training or supporting clinical staff in digital workflowsOur Mission Statement"Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being."Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
