We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Thoele Dental Laboratory in St. Cloud, MN.The regular hours for this position are from 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 11:00am on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentistPlace completed computer work cards on proper case pans, reviewing doctor, product and finish date information for correctnessDisinfect all case components using the appropriate disinfection procedurePour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper materialNumber all models and impressions with case numberPindex models and place pins in diesSaw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabricationPlace models on appropriate type of articulator using correct techniqueArticulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationshipCheck case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next dayClean work area dailyAll other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishExcellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterityDetail orientedMinimum Education and Experience Required:Preferred: High school diploma or equivalentNo experience required; paid training will be provided!Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Wet grindersHand-piecesCoping SawsBard Parker KnivesSteamersAcetoneDie-SeparatorAcceleratorGlueDie-HardenerPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of timeRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reachExhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motionsRead and interpret prescriptions and other required documentationAbility to effectively communicate technical informationVision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or colorQualificationsTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityHigh School or Equivalent or better.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
