Oral Surgery Regional Manager
The Wisdom Teeth Guys is growing in Houston and looking for a dynamic individual to manage its six rotating locations and one mobile oral surgery team across the Houston metro area. This position requires working every other Saturday.
If you are an experienced, dynamic, organized, and energetic dental office manager or regional manager then this position may be for you. Wisdom Teeth Guys is a premier provider of wisdom teeth removal in several Texas markets. Our Houston locations have over 1,000 five-star reviews! You will work with several talented local oral surgeons. We operate three to four surgery days per week in the Houston metro area. We rotate surgery days amongst the locations. The days each week are usually Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday. Office locations we will rotate around are Southbelt, Spring, NW Houston, Pearland, SE Houston, Hobby, and SW Houston. Non-surgical days you will work from our Spring location or sometimes from home.
Responsibilities include managing all day-to-day operations of surgery days. Managing a team of four oral surgery assistants and an assistant surgery manager. Managing schedules and communicating protocols with our CRNA's regarding sedation. Calling all patients/parents prior to surgery day and conducting pre-op calls. Posting patients' treatments to the ledger. Taking payment and greeting patients. Ensuring the surgery team stays on schedule. Managing relationships with our doctors. Managing relationships with the locations we lease from. Handling all instrument and supply orders. Managing handpieces, crash carts, oxygen, and other equipment. Training new surgery assistants on our processes and X-ray machines. Making sure things run smoothly from front to back. Substantial management experience and great people skills are both required. Oral surgery experience (both front office and back office) and a passion for the dental industry is highly preferred but can possibly be trained to the right candidate. This is probably unlike any other oral surgery or dental job you may have ever had.
