Job Details: Job Location: SPRING VALLEY, NY 10977 | Position Type: Regular | Salary Range: $75.00 - $95.00 hourly | Hours: Daytime/evening plus Sunday hours.

The general Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to health center patients, including definitive, emergency, restorative and preventive dental care.

Dentist Responsibilities
Performs routine examinations and treatment.
Diagnoses ailments of oral cavity. Performs and interprets X-rays.
Performs teeth cleaning and dental work, including crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.
Performs limited dental surgery, restricted to extractions.
Documents patient’s dental history and treatment.
Supervises dental assistants and hygienists.
Performs patient pain management techniques.
Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program.
Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required.

Qualifications
DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Current, valid NYS license to practice dentistry.
Active NY DEA Registration.
Other certifications as required by state, including CPR and DEA.
Eligible to work in the US.
BLS certified.
