Job description
Dentist (DDS/DMD) – 1 Day per Week
We are looking for a dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to inmate patients within the facility. The position requires adherence to security regulations, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
Perform routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
Evaluate patients' dental needs and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
Take impressions for dental appliances and instruct patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and provide in‑service training for health staff members.
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.
Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
Schedule is on Friday for an 8‑hour shift weekly.
