Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 7:00 am to noon. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care to patients aged 0-18, including those with special needs, handling a high volume of patients daily, and performing a wide range of procedures from routine hygiene to complex sedation cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive dental care for patients aged 0-18, including those with special needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as hygiene, fillings, extractions, cleanings, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Utilize Nitrous Oxide, Office Based Anesthesia (general anesthesia), and Hospital Sedation (general anesthesia).
Manage sedation cases, including Nitrous and Oral Conscious Sedation (OCS).
Participate in one OR day per week, utilizing onsite IV sedation with an anesthesiologist.

Staffing Mix: Full front office staff at each office location including Patient Coordinator(s), Treatment Coordinators, Financial Coordinator, Office Manager, Surgery Coordinator. Back Office: Lead Dental Assistant(s), Hygienist, Dental Assistants, and Steri Tech.
