About the Role
Dr. Glen's Happy Teeth in Long Beach, NY is looking for a talented and passionate General Dentist to join our Award winning practice! Part Time Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care in a warm, patient-centered environment where smiles are our business. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages
Provide a full range of general dentistry services including fillings, extractions, crowns, implants some endo (preferred) and preventive care
Deliver patient education on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventive dental health
Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic imaging to assess patient needs
Collaborate with dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Identify and refer complex cases to appropriate dental specialists as needed
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited program
Active New York State dental license in good standing
Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification
Experience with general dentistry procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented dental practice
Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix) is a plus
