Position Details
Specialty: General Dentistry
Setting: Outpatient Community Health Clinic
Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
Start Date: ASAP (1-2 weeks credentialing)
Assignment Length: 3-12 Months with Extension Options
Preferred Commitment: 6-12 Months

Compensation
Pay Rate: $100-$125/hour
Travel and lodging provided
Competitive 1099 compensation
Schedule
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No Call
Practice Details
Community Health Center serving a rural Iowa community
Average Patient Volume: 16 patients per day
Diverse patient population with a large Spanish-speaking community
Bread-and-butter general dentistry
Procedures Include:
Fillings
Extractions
Root Canals
Crowns
3D Printing Cases
Complex cases are referred out to specialists
Patient Population
Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
Must be comfortable treating patients ages 5 through Adult
EMR
EPIC Wisdom
Requirements
Active Iowa Dental License preferred
Licensing candidates will be considered if able to expedite the licensing process
Must have a clean malpractice history (no malpractice claims)
Must be comfortable treating pediatric patients
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required
Additional Information
Fast credentialing process (approximately 1-2 weeks)
Client has an urgent need and can assist with Iowa licensure if necessary
Travel and lodging covered by the client
Long-term locums opportunity with extension potential
Stable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities
