Grow your career with a rapidly growing company that invests in its people and their ability to drive real progress.Responsibilities:Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients, brokers and other executivesPrepare internal and external corporate documents for team members and industry partnersArrange corporate events to take place outside of the work place (internal and external social functions, hosted events, etc.)Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documentsOversee department T&E reporting and approval processesComplete budget and expense analysis for the department, regular reporting cycles for actual vs. budget, and quarterly variance analysisTrack and maintain financial and operating goals by distribution channel, working closely with senior executives to overlay priorities with actual resultsUphold a strict level of confidentialityDevelop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clienteleRequired Skills:Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior managementAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and softwareStrong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilitiesDeveloping financial analysis skills, strong familiarity with Microsoft ExcelExceptional interpersonal skillsFriendly and professional demeanorStarr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
