Job Summary
Founding Department Chair of Dermatology – Creighton University School of Medicine and CHI Health are recruiting a leader to build a vibrant academic program, expand clinical services, develop research, and grow a residency program within a large integrated health system.
Responsibilities
Lead the establishment and growth of a Department of Dermatology across clinical enterprise, residency education, and research.
Collaborate with faculty and system leaders to design and implement a system-wide dermatology program, including outpatient clinics and MOHS surgery laboratories.
Educate residents, medical students, fellows, and community clinicians through didactic and clinical teaching.
Conduct and support collaborative research with faculty within CommonSpirit Health and Creighton University School of Medicine.
Serve as an academic and business leader, communicating vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Board certification in Dermatology or a relevant subspecialty.
Rank of Associate Professor or Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine.
Demonstrated clinical and academic leadership experience in an academic medical setting.
Experience developing, managing, or overseeing residency or fellowship programs is an advantage.
Benefits
Competitive salary range $650,000 - $900,000 per year.
