Job description
Department Chairperson Physical Education, Health and Athletics
The Superintendent invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Department Chairperson Physical Education, Health and Athletics. This position is pending availability of funds and Board of Education's approval.
Qualifications and Requirements:
An appropriate New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate.
Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Three to five years of successful experience in teaching Physical Education and Health as well as in Coaching.
Demonstrated leadership in the organization and administration of a school-level athletic program.
Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for student-athletes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
Student Life and Family Support
Organizational Leadership
Reports To: Principal or Designee
Salary: $92,000 - $128,000 (Pending salary negotiations)
Employment Period: 11 months
Union Affiliation: City Association of Supervisors and Administrators (C.A.S.A.)
