Job description
Summary
The Department Manager leads an assigned store department to deliver a memorable customer experience and achieve sales, profit, and operating goals. The role oversees staff performance, loss prevention, merchandising, and the execution of promotional strategies.
Responsibilities
Drive sales and profit performance and help establish sales, margin, and operating budget goals.
Manage shrinkage goals and implement loss prevention procedures.
Train, supervise, coach, and mentor employees to improve performance.
Execute promotional strategies and visual directives while maintaining store presentation standards.
Monitor competition and market trends and share merchandise and visual presentation feedback.
Requirements
Retail management experience preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Strong business acumen and ability to guide teams toward goals through collaboration, motivation, and staff development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to foster an environment consistent with the brand's lifestyle philosophy.
