Buffalo Wild Wings is looking for Department Managers. This role involves leading and managing the floor, bar, kitchen, or takeout operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, game-day environment. You will drive operational excellence, coach team members, and ensure a safe, clean, and compliant workplace while maintaining profitability.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire Team Members to deliver top-tier service and memorable fan experiences.
Coach, train, and develop the team to build an all-star lineup daily.
Own execution across operations, including guest engagement, quality, speed, and accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment across all areas.
Lead in-house promotions, local marketing, and fan engagement initiatives.
Direct staffing, recruitment, hiring, orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development of Department Team Members.
Plan weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
Develop and implement incentive programs and contests to motivate team participation in promotions.
Provide regular performance feedback and conduct timely performance appraisals.
Assist General Manager with coaching and development of Bar, Hospitality, and Assistant Managers.
Utilize support teams and subject matter experts as needed; ensure adherence to service standards and guest experience.
Monitor guest feedback through the Guest Comment program and GEM, addressing concerns promptly.
Ensure proper training, permits, and compliance across departments; manage inventory, orders, and vendor relationships as applicable.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and Responsible Alcohol Service (RAS).
High school diploma or equivalent required; restaurant and/or leadership experience preferred.
Team-first mindset with a passion for developing people and building a positive culture.
High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; motivated with a positive attitude.
